[Haku appears to be in an office, but not her office. It's actually Megakat Auto in Neon, where she's been moonlighting for a while thanks to Rei's current illness and Paulo's recent one. She has her VR Visor on, and seems to be adjusting something on her arm panel.]

Well... that was another data freeze come and gone. Those things really are disorienting, to say the least...

[she finishes whatever she's messing with and looks up, a hint of worry on her features behind the purple-tinted visor]

Unfortunately I woke up to find that Lori Hamilton has been sent home. That just leaves me, Dart, and Eve at the DATS garage. And beyond that... Rei at Megakat Auto has been ill for quite a while. I have no idea if she's seen a doctor yet, but I'm beginning to think she should. Her other mechanic, Paulo, is also out ill, but his boyfriend left a message saying he was doing a little better and might be able to come back soon.

I'm not terribly worried about her garage, but she did ask that I come help Rock and Douglas out. [aside] I haven't actually seen Douglas yet, but she says that's normal...

Dart, I can take over here. I need you back at DATS with Eve until one of them is better.

Otherwise... if my usual clients are looking for me, I'll be at Megakat Auto in Neon City.

Hm? Oh, no, no. Normally it's Rei, Douglas, Paulo and Rock. But Rei has been sick since last month, and Paulo started feeling ill last week, so it's just been Douglas and Rock in her garage.

I don't really know... I asked Rei to keep it that way when everything first happened. Back then, I guess I was still... protecting him. I thought, 'If he changes his mind, if he apologizes for what happened and tries to come back, I don't want to have erased everything he worked so hard for'.

I wish I knew. She's been throwing up repeatedly, feeling weak and and tired... she says she feels better by the end of the day but when she wakes up in the morning it starts all over again.

I saw her yesterday. She looks like she's losing weight, but she's still refusing to go to the doctor.
