I-it's a bit of a long story... longer than I want to tell. But everyone's okay now. I figured since they probably weren't talking about it we shouldn't leave everyone wondering if they were attacked or something like that...

Listen ... Haku ... I'm glad you did what you did. When Greg grabbed me like he did--it was all I could do not to retaliate. If I had, I'd have done a lot more than just break his nose; probably it would have been his wrist or arm. It's stupid, because I don't usually get that angry over trivial things like that. But that's what could have happened. So I know how you feel.

Getting hit was a shock, but the fact that it was you is the reason it didn't go any further. If it had been Greg I probably would've hit back, and then things would have gotten even worse. So by being the one to cause us a bit of harm, you probably stopped us doing something to one another we'd have ended up regretting. Don't be afraid to use your strength for that. A little pain now is better than a lot later on.

I ... don't know. Last time we actually got physical it was deliberate, but ... it does seem like we get into an argument almost every time we talk. Either he does something I think is stupid or he calls me on something I've said or done, and then it just ... escalates. I never used to get into stupid arguments like this, back home.

Nicky says he's always been like that. There'd be days where he'd kick everyone out of the lab just because he was in a mood and didn't want to be bothered...

I think... nii-chan has a lot of regrets... which is funny because he doesn't like talking about those things either, yet he always tells everyone not to bottle things up...

He has ... talked about a few things with me, before. He's not very good at following his own advice, though; if he didn't bottle things up the way he does then I wouldn't have needed to push him into fighting with me.

Master isn't very good at taking that advice either.

[sigh] I'm better at it than Greg is. I may not talk much, but at least I acknowledge the value of an outlet. Even if it is usually a violent one.

[sigh] I don't expect to solve things with violence, Haku. Fighting is just the best way I know of to exorcise my frustration so I can figure out how to solve things reasonably, and it works for me. But there aren't many people I know here in the digital world who'd be up for a spar, so it hasn't happened all that often. That may be why it's been so difficult to keep a handle on my emotions lately.

The only reason it's not working is because I haven't found someone to spar against. And it's really my own fault for that. There are a lot of fighters here in the digital world ... and there are a few I should be able to trust enough for that, at least.

Well ... the chosen instruments for the Clan are the ocarina or the flute--and others of that kind. They're what I'm most familiar with, especially the former two.
