Apparently, there was an experiment run to see if Jade and Dist could build a Vocaloid. So, they succeeded and made Hanako -- based off on Haku. Therefore, she's her daughter, that makes us grandparents, our family tree has become even more complicated and Hanako is missing, so Haku went off after her.
